Martín Giner
Argentinian theater director and playwright with over twenty premiered plays, along with several TV scripts and ad campaigns—because storytelling comes in all shapes and sizes. His work has been translated into English, Italian, and Portuguese, and has been staged throughout Latin America, Spain, the United States, and Italy.
As an educator, he has taught seminars, talks, and workshops on playwriting and directing at various universities and theater festivals.
His writing centers around comedy, though depending on the piece, it may lean toward the absurd, the dramatic, or the surreal. What unites all his work is a dynamic narrative style that invites the audience to play along with their imagination.
Currently, Giner is dedicated to his work as director and playwright with his company, Calavera Teatro, in Argentina. During his residencies in Spain, he focuses on teaching and staging his plays with local ensembles.
