EL OJO QUE SEÑALA

In Plays, Reloj

The Pointing Eye” is a surreal comedy that follows the wild odyssey of an ad man and a lawyer who are forced to take a road trip with a dead body — with the goal of turning him into a celebrity. Drawing from pop surrealism, the play playfully questions the pursuit of fame as an end in itself, and challenges the dominance of image over substance.
Despite the big ideas it tackles, the story is clear, concrete, and driven by entertainment. What starts out absurd slowly begins to make perfect sense as the plot unfolds. A publicist and a lawyer on a mission to make a corpse famous — in a world where fame and appearance matter more than anything. As surreal as it sounds... and maybe just as real.
