Antón is such a sedentary man that an entire city has grown on his body — turning him overnight into what others call a freak. But that’s not the part that bothers him. The real problem is that a group of religious fanatics want to kill him to set an example for the youth; two rival political parties are fighting over who gets to execute him publicly for maximum campaign benefit; and the media has made him their latest obsession, branding him the monster of the week.
Set in the middle of a brutal election season, Antón has just three days to stay alive in a city where everyone wants him dead — all while carrying another city on his back that’s slowly killing him from the inside out. What could possibly go wrong?
